Jagannatha-Tempel Berlin

…to the webpage of the Jagannatha Temple Berlin (ISKCON Berlin e.V.)!

We are a community of the International Society for Krishna-consciousness (ISKCON) which was founded by A.C. Bhaktivendanta Swami Prabhupada (picture to the right) in 1966. ISKCON is one of the groups belonging to Gaudiya Vaishnavism which was founded 500 years ago by Shri Chaitanya and which draws upon the religion of ancient India.
In a few words, our goal is to develop love for Krishna/God and all his entities by applying bhakti-yoga. Our main practice is chanting the Hare Krishna mantra together. We transform our lives by becoming absorbed into spirit.
If you would like to be informed about our events, you are welcome to subscribe to our newsletter (which is in German).

Ratha-Yatra Info:

Due to the corona crisis we are unable to reliably plan any large events for the summer. This mainly effects our largest festival of the year – the Ratha Yatra. A festival the size of a Ratha Yatra requires months of preparation time. That is why we had to decide – with a heavy heart – not to celebrate the Ratha Yatra on the street this year, but in our hearts. We will celebrate the Ratha Yatra online together with the temples in London (Soho street), Zürich and Radhadesh. The festival will be on July 18th from 11 am to 5 pm. Details will follow.
